Please make yourself familiar with the style and themes of Selina’s work. Although willing to try anything, her time is limited, so Selina prefers to only take commissions which are suited to her style and allow a greater amount of artistic license while creating your artwork.
Traditional Mediums (Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Pencil)
Best for if you want to own the original artwork at the end of the process, great for portraiture and anything you’d want to hang on your wall. Quote will include shipment of the original painting and archival quality materials.
Digital Medium (hand painted with wacom cintiq/clip studio/photoshop)
A flexible medium best for when your design exists online and in print, e.g. cover art and character art.
Chapter openers, small/simple artworks
Simple or partial artworks in black and white start at US$200
Coloring in designs
Selina has created over 750 of her own coloring designs and sold over 300,000 coloring books, so this is an area she is experienced in! Custom coloring pages range around US$150-$300, with quantity discounts available.
Hand Drawn Maps
Need a hand drawn map for your epic fantasy novel? Map design starts from US$250
cover designs
If you need a book cover design, Selina can create just the artwork, or the complete cover and book design, including special features like spine and edge art.
Ornamental/discreet cover designs
Decorative cover design with hand drawn elements can be created for your book from $350

Fully illustrated covers can range from simple, single character portraits to complete, epic action scenes! Please request a quote.
Edge designs
Love printed edges and want them on your book? Selina can create your design AND apply it to your interior format so that it can be printed through standard print on demand services (KDP, Ingram) using fore-edge printing methods. Starting at US$100 for B&W, US$200 for color.
Chibi Character Art
Who doesn’t want to see their characters (from stories, RPGs, or anything!) as cute chibis? Starting at $50 per character with simple background.
Commissioning Process
- Before beginning your artwork we will discuss your requirements (via email/messenger as preferred) to clarify details, and I will quote for the completion of the artwork. A 50% deposit is required before I start work. This is non-refundable and will cover all the work in researching and developing your concept.
- I will develop a sketch/rough and email a watermarked file for approval. You can request any changes, or approve the artwork to be finished. Don’t feel shy in telling me you don’t like something. It’s your commission after all. A total of 3 rounds of sketch revisions/additions can be made before extra payment is required. Sketch revisions will not be done that reflect a change of direction, character, or concept to your original description.
- Once you are happy with the rough the balance of the total payment will be requested before the artwork will be completed.
- Once the payment is received, work will be done to complete the picture. You will be kept up to date with the progress of your painting and will be sent a file of your finished work for approval at which stage some minor changes are still allowed. Only changes suitable to the medium and artwork will be allowed at this stage, and anything deemed more than minor will incur further repaint fees. On approval, the artwork will be delivered to you in your chosen way.
Time Frame – Upon receiving your request I will book you into my schedule and let you know when I am likely to start on your sketch. The sketch, depending on research and complexity, can take up to 3 weeks to complete, but generally much sooner. Once a sketch is approved the final artwork can take from 2 days to 3 weeks to complete, depending on the size and complexity.
Pricing – Artwork commission pricing is extremely variable, and depends on many details. I will calculate a quote based on materials, hourly rate and time frame when you submit your request. The quote is obligation free.
