Merlin’s Temple depicts the wizened old wizard sitting in a grove of trees. The forest is Merlin’s temple, nature his god, and he its most dedicated priest. The horns atop his staff symbolise the horned god of nature, and the standing stones reinforce the connection to Celtic mythology. If you look closely, you’ll see that the forest claims Merlin as its own – the vines creep up his robes.
