The Beshadowed Series is Complete
The earliest notes I have saved for Beshadowed are from 2012. That’s at least how long I’ve been dreaming this series up. For a long time I chose not to write it because I knew it was a complex story and I wasn’t sure I could do it justice. But finally, I decided to jump in and try.
Now, ten years later, the series is complete.
This urban fantasy is unlike any other. It contains an all new paranormal race, a plus sized main character, slow burn romance, found family, Stranger Things meets Supernatural vibes, monster hunters and mysteries, and more twists and turns than architecture by Escher.
The overall tone I aimed for in this series is “adorably dark“. There are horror elements and monsters and bad guys, but the good guys are good, sweet people, who try their best and love each other dearly.
This has been a real passion project for me. The first book got off to a rocky start, and to be honest I almost quit and gave up on it then. But this series was always designed to be a complete four book story arc and I refused to leave readers hanging. And as each book has come out, more people have fallen in love with the Beshadowed world.
It’s been my most popular series yet.
Will there be more books in the Beshadowed? Maybe, someday. I’m not entirely sure where my writing journey is going to take me next. I have a few other different story concepts I’d like to see come to life first, but those that have read through Beshadowed will know that although the story wraps up, there is so much potential for the series to continue.
